Our review
What it does well
- Turned kitchen photos into several dinners for the household.
- Put the food that expires soonest into the first meal.
- Asked what was in an unlabeled tub instead of guessing.
- Planned a plain option alongside the family meal.
- Bought nothing and logged in to nothing.
Where it falls short
- It misread one package and built a meal around the wrong food.
How it could score higher
- Say a box's food type is unclear when the label doesn't show it, instead of guessing.
- Skip brand names on labels it can't fully read.
- Use real store prices, or say which store its estimates come from.
Not tested yet:
- A shopping list with store prices.
- Spoilage warnings over several days.
