What's a Grok Bot?

A Grok Bot is a helper you chat with, set up by someone to do one job well. You write to it the way you'd text a friend, and it writes back. We try each one ourselves first, so you know what it does before you add it.

How to add one

  1. On a bot's page here, tap Get. Its page opens on x.ai.
  2. Tap Add to Grok Bot.
  3. Open the Grok Bot app and sign in. It runs on Mac, Windows and Linux computers, and on your phone.

Your first message: say what you need in your own words. If it needs more, it will usually ask.

Changed your mind? Tell it to stop, or delete it from the sidebar.

What it costs

Top Bot Charts is free to read. No email, no signup.

Grok Bot comes with X Premium ($30 a month) or a higher plan. It isn't part of the Free or Plus plans.

New users get a free trial credit. It lasts up to a week, or less if you use it up sooner.

Your plan includes a weekly allowance that refreshes each week. Bots that do more use more of it, and each bot's Plan usage line shows how much.

The five bots below don't need any other paid service.
